Afternoon Communion Service
Communion is a very important part of life in the church, but we are aware that there may be some of you who find it increasingly difficult to attend our communion service in the morning.
It is our desire that everyone, where at all possible, should have the opportunity to share in communion alongside your family of faith. So, to help with this, on Sunday 1st December 2019, we will be holding an additional communion service in the afternoon at 2pm. This will be a shorter service that will last around 30 minutes, and depending on numbers, for your comfort and accessibility we will gather round the communion table on chairs rather than in the pews.
So, if you now find it difficult to attend our morning communion service for whatever reason, it would be lovely to see you at the afternoon service. For those of you who find getting to church more difficult, we are hoping to be able to provide transport for those who need it.
But you have to tell us if this is you. When your elder comes to visit you in preparation for December’s communion, please let them know if you would like to come along to the shorter afternoon service. |
